Amelanchier Canadensis, or more commonly know as Canadian Serviceberry, is a tree shrub with green foliage and white flowers of the genus Amelanchier. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 20 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during mid spring and is somewhat tolerant of shade. Amelanchier Canadensis or Canadian Serviceberry's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
