Poa Secunda, or more commonly know as Sandberg Bluegrass, is a graminoid with green foliage and yellow flowers of the genus Poa. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 1.4 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring, blooms during late spring and is somewhat tolerant of shade. Poa Secunda or Sandberg Bluegrass's floral region is North America US Lower 48 and Alaska, specifically in the states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
