Agrostis Hyemalis, or more commonly know as Winter Bentgrass, is a graminoid with green foliage and green flowers of the genus Agrostis. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 3.5 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring summer fall, blooms during mid spring and is somewhat tolerant of shade.
