Monarda Fistulosa, or more commonly know as Wild Bergamot, is a subshrub forb/herb with gray-green foliage and red flowers of the genus Monarda. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 4.9 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring, blooms during summer and is somewhat tolerant of shade.
