Picea Glauca, or more commonly know as White Spruce, is a tree with green foliage and yellow flowers of the genus Picea. It has a slow growth rate and a height of 100 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is summer, blooms during late spring and is somewhat tolerant of shade. Picea Glauca or White Spruce's floral region is North America US Lower 48 and Alaska, specifically in the states of Alaska, Connecticut, Idaho, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
