Carex Aquatilis, or more commonly know as Water Sedge, is a graminoid with green foliage and green flowers of the genus Carex. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 2.9 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is summer, blooms during summer and is intolerant of shade.
