Magnolia Tripetala, or more commonly know as Umbrella-Tree, is a tree with green foliage and white flowers of the genus Magnolia. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 30 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring, blooms during spring, is tolerant of shade and is routinely available commercially. Magnolia Tripetala or Umbrella-Tree's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
