Pinus Pungens, or more commonly know as Table Mountain Pine, is a tree with green foliage and yellow flowers of the genus Pinus. It has a height of 50 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during mid spring and is intolerant of shade. Pinus Pungens or Table Mountain Pine's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
