Acer Pseudoplatanus, or more commonly know as Sycamore Maple, is a tree with yellow-green foliage and yellow flowers of the genus Acer. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 100 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during late spring, is intolerant of shade and is routinely available commercially. Acer Pseudoplatanus or Sycamore Maple's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.
