Hedysarum, or more commonly know as Sweetvetch, is of the genus Hedysarum. Hedysarum or Sweetvetch's floral region is North America US Lower 48 and Alaska, specifically in the states of Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Maine, Michigan, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington and Wyoming.
