Philadelphus Coronarius, or more commonly know as Sweet Mock Orange, is a shrub with green foliage and white flowers of the genus Philadelphus. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 8 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during late spring and is intolerant of shade. Philadelphus Coronarius or Sweet Mock Orange's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Virginia, Vermont and Wisconsin.
