Artemisia Abrotanum, or more commonly know as Southernwood, is a subshrub shrub of the genus Artemisia. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. Artemisia Abrotanum or Southernwood's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, South Carolina, Utah, Vermont, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
