Artemisia Abrotanum or Southernwood's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, South Carolina, Utah, Vermont, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
