Melanthera Nivea, or more commonly know as Snow Squarestem, is a forb/herb (a forb/herb is a non-woody plant that is not a grass) of the genus Melanthera. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. Melanthera Nivea or Snow Squarestem's floral region is North America US Lower 48 and The Virgin Islands, specifically in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee.
