Vicia Lutea, or more commonly know as Smooth Yellow Vetch, is a vine forb/herb with dark green foliage and yellow flowers of the genus Vicia. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 2 feet at maturity. Its duration is annual which means it grows for one season only. It's active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during spring and is intolerant of shade. Vicia Lutea or Smooth Yellow Vetch's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of New York and Vermont.
