Festuca Ovina, or more commonly know as Sheep Fescue, is a graminoid with gray-green foliage and yellow flowers of the genus Festuca. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 0.5 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring, blooms during late spring and is somewhat tolerant of shade. Festuca Ovina or Sheep Fescue's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maine, Missouri, New Hampshire, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Utah, Vermont and Washington.
