Amyris Elemifera, or more commonly know as Sea Torchwood, is a tree shrub with green foliage and white flowers of the genus Amyris. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 16 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is fall, blooms during fall and is tolerant of shade. Amyris Elemifera or Sea Torchwood's floral region is North America US Lower 48, Puerto Rico and The Virgin Islands, specifically in the state of Florida.
