Manilkara Zapota, or more commonly know as Sapodilla, is a tree with green foliage and brown flowers of the genus Manilkara. It has a slow growth rate and a height of 50 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is year round, blooms during indeterminate and is somewhat tolerant of shade. Manilkara Zapota or Sapodilla's floral region is North America US Lower 48, Puerto Rico and The Virgin Islands, specifically in the state of Florida.
