Chloris Gayana, or more commonly know as Rhodes Grass, is a graminoid with green foliage and white flowers of the genus Chloris. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 3 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during late summer and is intolerant of shade. Chloris Gayana or Rhodes Grass's floral region is North America US Lower 48, Hawaii and The Virgin Islands, specifically in the states of Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maine, Mississippi, North Carolina, Texas and Virginia.
