Aesculus Pavia, or more commonly know as Red Buckeye, is a tree shrub with yellow-green foliage and red flowers of the genus Aesculus. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 30 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during late spring, is tolerant of shade and is routinely available commercially. Aesculus Pavia or Red Buckeye's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
