Bromus Briziformis, or more commonly know as Rattlesnake Brome, is a graminoid with green foliage and yellow flowers of the genus Bromus. It has a rapid growth rate and a height of 1.6 feet at maturity. Its duration is annual which means it grows for one season only. It's active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during late spring, is intolerant of shade and is routinely available commercially.
