Cecropia Schreberiana, or more commonly know as Pumpwood, is a tree with green foliage and yellow flowers of the genus Cecropia. It has a rapid growth rate and a height of 65 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring summer fall, blooms during late winter, is intolerant of shade and is routinely available commercially. Cecropia Schreberiana or Pumpwood's floral region is Puerto Rico and The Virgin Islands.
