Setaria Vulpiseta, or more commonly know as Plains Bristlegrass, is a graminoid with green foliage and yellow flowers of the genus Setaria. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 3 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during early summer and is somewhat tolerant of shade. Setaria Vulpiseta or Plains Bristlegrass's floral region is North America US Lower 48 and Puerto Rico, specifically in the states of Arizona, Colorado, Mississippi, New Mexico and Texas.
