Sorbus Decora, or more commonly know as Northern Mountain Ash, is a tree shrub with gray-green foliage and white flowers of the genus Sorbus. It has a slow growth rate and a height of 40 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is summer and fall, blooms during early summer and is tolerant of shade. Sorbus Decora or Northern Mountain Ash's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Connecticut, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Vermont and Wisconsin.
