Morella Pensylvanica, or more commonly know as Northern Bayberry, is a tree shrub with green foliage and yellow flowers of the genus Morella. It has a slow growth rate and a height of 12 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring, blooms during late spring and is intolerant of shade. Morella Pensylvanica or Northern Bayberry's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia and Vermont.
