Rhapidophyllum Hystrix, or more commonly know as Needle Palm, is a shrub of the genus Rhapidophyllum. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. Rhapidophyllum Hystrix or Needle Palm's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and South Carolina.
