Bromus Marginatus, or more commonly know as Mountain Brome, is a graminoid with green foliage and yellow flowers of the genus Bromus. It has a rapid growth rate and a height of 4 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during spring and is intolerant of shade. Bromus Marginatus or Mountain Brome's floral region is North America US Lower 48 and Alaska, specifically in the states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maine, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
