Phyllostachys Meyeri, or more commonly know as Meyer's Bamboo, is a subshrub shrub graminoid of the genus Phyllostachys. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. Phyllostachys Meyeri or Meyer's Bamboo's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina.
