Carex Petasata, or more commonly know as Liddon Sedge, is a graminoid of the genus Carex. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. Carex Petasata or Liddon Sedge's floral region is North America US Lower 48 and Alaska, specifically in the states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
