Rhododendron Lapponicum, or more commonly know as Lapland Rosebay, is a shrub with green foliage and purple flowers of the genus Rhododendron. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 3 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring, blooms during late spring and is tolerant of shade. Rhododendron Lapponicum or Lapland Rosebay's floral region is North America US Lower 48 and Alaska, specifically in the states of Alaska, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, New York and Wisconsin.
