Gymnocladus Dioicus, or more commonly know as Kentucky Coffeetree, is a tree with green foliage and white flowers of the genus Gymnocladus. It has a slow growth rate and a height of 80 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring, blooms during early summer and is intolerant of shade. Gymnocladus Dioicus or Kentucky Coffeetree's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin.
