Ceiba Pentandra, or more commonly know as Kapoktree, is a tree shrub with green foliage and white flowers of the genus Ceiba. It has a rapid growth rate and a height of 131 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is fall and blooms during winter. Ceiba Pentandra or Kapoktree's floral region is Puerto Rico and The Virgin Islands.
