Carex Kobomugi, or more commonly know as Japanese Sedge, is a graminoid of the genus Carex. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. Carex Kobomugi or Japanese Sedge's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island and Virginia.
