Hammock Fern (Blechnum occidentale)

Blechnum Occidentale, or more commonly know as Hammock Fern, is a forb/herb (a forb/herb is a non-woody plant that is not a grass) of the genus Blechnum. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. Blechnum Occidentale or Hammock Fern's floral region is North America US Lower 48, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and The Virgin Islands, specifically in the states of Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana and Texas.
