Lycopodium Complanatum, or more commonly know as Groundcedar, is a subshrub forb/herb of the genus Lycopodium. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. Lycopodium Complanatum or Groundcedar's floral region is North America US Lower 48 and Alaska, specifically in the states of Alaska, Idaho, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, New York, Oregon, South Dakota, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
