Dipsacus Laciniatus, or more commonly know as Cutleaf Teasel, is a forb/herb (a forb/herb is a non-woody plant that is not a grass) of the genus Dipsacus. Its duration is biennial or bi-annual which means it can grow or bloom twice, in the first year and the following year. Dipsacus Laciniatus or Cutleaf Teasel's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin.
