Eriochloa Polystachya, or more commonly know as Caribgrass, is a graminoid with green foliage of the genus Eriochloa. It has a rapid growth rate and a height of 3 feet at maturity. Its duration is annual which means it grows for one season only. It's active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during summer and is intolerant of shade. Eriochloa Polystachya or Caribgrass's floral region is North America US Lower 48 and Puerto Rico, specifically in the states of Florida, Mississippi and Texas.
