Paspalum Plicatulum, or more commonly know as Brownseed Paspalum, is a graminoid with green foliage and green flowers of the genus Paspalum. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 3.3 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring, blooms during summer, is somewhat tolerant of shade and is routinely available commercially. Paspalum Plicatulum or Brownseed Paspalum's floral region is North America US Lower 48, Puerto Rico and The Virgin Islands, specifically in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Texas.
