Pinus Aristata, or more commonly know as Bristlecone Pine, is a tree with green foliage and purple flowers of the genus Pinus. It has a slow growth rate and a height of 40 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during mid summer and is intolerant of shade. Pinus Aristata or Bristlecone Pine's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico.
