Schinus Terebinthifolius, or more commonly know as Brazilian Peppertree, is a tree shrub with dark green foliage and white flowers of the genus Schinus. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 30 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is year round, blooms during summer and is intolerant of shade. Schinus Terebinthifolius or Brazilian Peppertree's floral region is North America US Lower 48, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and The Virgin Islands, specifically in the states of California, Florida, Hawaii and Texas.
