Centaurium Pulchellum, or more commonly know as Branched Centaury, is a forb/herb (a forb/herb is a non-woody plant that is not a grass) of the genus Centaurium. Its duration is annual which means it grows for one season only. Centaurium Pulchellum or Branched Centaury's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, Vermont, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
