Picea Pungens, or more commonly know as Blue Spruce, is a tree with green foliage and yellow flowers of the genus Picea. It has a slow growth rate and a height of 100 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during late spring and is somewhat tolerant of shade. Picea Pungens or Blue Spruce's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Utah and Wyoming.
