Photinia Melanocarpa, or more commonly know as Black Chokeberry, is a shrub with red foliage and white flowers of the genus Photinia. It has a height of 6 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. Photinia Melanocarpa or Black Chokeberry's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont and Wisconsin.
