Fallugia Paradoxa, or more commonly know as Apache Plume, is a shrub with yellow-green foliage and purple flowers of the genus Fallugia. It has a rapid growth rate and a height of 6 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during late spring, is intolerant of shade and is routinely available commercially. Fallugia Paradoxa or Apache Plume's floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, Texas and Utah.
