Alchornea Latifolia, or more commonly know as Achiotillo, is a tree with green foliage and green flowers of the genus Alchornea. It has a height of 52 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is fall winter and spring, blooms during early spring and is intolerant of shade. Alchornea Latifolia or Achiotillo's floral region is Puerto Rico and The Virgin Islands.
