Stalkless Yellowcress (Rorippa Sessiliflora)
Rorippa Sessiliflora, or more commonly know as Stalkless Yellowcress, is a forb/herb (a forb/herb is a non-woody plant that is not a grass) with green foliage and yellow flowers of the genus Rorippa. It has a rapid growth rate and a height of 1.5 feet at maturity. Its duration is annual which means it grows for one season only. It’s active growth period is spring summer fall, blooms during indeterminate, is somewhat tolerant of shade and is routinely available commercially. Rorippa Sessiliflora or Stalkless Yellowcress‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin.
