Spreading Amaranth (Amaranthus Crassipes)
Amaranthus Crassipes, or more commonly know as Spreading Amaranth, is a forb/herb (a forb/herb is a non-woody plant that is not a grass) of the genus Amaranthus. Its duration is annual which means it grows for one season only. Amaranthus Crassipes or Spreading Amaranth‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, Puerto Rico and The Virgin Islands, specifically in the states of Alabama, Arizona, Florida, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Texas.
