Solidago Sempervirens, or more commonly know as Seaside Goldenrod, is a forb/herb (a forb/herb is a non-woody plant that is not a grass) with dark green foliage and yellow flowers of the genus Solidago. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 3.5 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during late summer and is intolerant of shade. Solidago Sempervirens or Seaside Goldenrod's floral region is North America US Lower 48 and Puerto Rico, specifically in the states of Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia.
