Sandbar Willow (Salix Interior)
Salix Interior, or more commonly know as Sandbar Willow, is a shrub tree with green foliage and green flowers of the genus Salix. It has a rapid growth rate and a height of 30 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It’s active growth period is spring, blooms during early spring and is intolerant of shade. Salix Interior or Sandbar Willow‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48 and Alaska, specifically in the states of Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
