Its duration is annual which means it grows for one season only. Portulaca Grandiflora or Rose Moss‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48 and Puerto Rico, specifically in the states of California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Vermont and Wisconsin.
