Red Mulberry (Morus Rubra)
Morus Rubra, or more commonly know as Red Mulberry, is a tree with green foliage and green flowers of the genus Morus. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 70 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It’s active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during early spring and is tolerant of shade. Morus Rubra or Red Mulberry‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Vermont and Wisconsin.
